For my DT piece for Artful Times, I have made a page for my book of sewing. I started off with a sheet of corrugated card, ripped off some of the top layer, and painted it with Fresco paint, stone and mermaid. I then embossed with gold some highlights on the edge.I stamped an image of an old fashioned sewing machine, and some script. I embossed one of T H's dress forms, and coloured it with some distress inks. I stamped various adverts and sewing notions, coloured them and stuck them on. I finished off by dressing the form with lace and adding some wooden scissors, a homemade button, and a small spool of thread. Neet has made a journal page for hers, and you can see it here

Lovely soft colours and great images. I love the old treadle sewing machine - my Mum had one just like it.
Love all the details and additions to your fabulous sewing project.
