Maroon is the word this week on Every Inchie Monday. There is the colour maroon, or you can maroon someone on a desert island, so I went with both of them. For the painted one I used Derwent intense crayons.

Love that fabric one! Good on you for sticking with it - six months of fabric inchies. I had same idea, was torn between the colour and the verb. Kept thinking of Robinson Crusoe, but couldn't think of how to present it, so went with colour.
Two more great ideas - I love them both, especially that tiny desert island.
Love all that exquisite texture on the sewn one & robin Crusoe is so cute...

Smart to do both of the maroon words. Yours are very nicely done. I did the island too but I did it like I was looking at the scene so I didn't have to draw myself HAHA!
Both of these are gorgeous -love the textures of the first but the detail on your second is superb.
Love the fabric inchie, the painted one is fabulous as well.

Both inchies are great. The first eve because I love fabric and the color. The painted becsuse it is suvh a nice island.
great job on both of these, I love the detail in both
Fantastic inchies Wendy. I sort of hoped someone would tackle the ship wreck theme but I couldn't begin to think how to fit it onto an inch--wonderful
Love Chrissie x

Both are very good. But my favorite is the island. My thoughts exactly.
