I found this a bit of a challenge this week on Every Inchie Monday. A cathedral is not easy to portray on an inch square. I used shrink plastic on the card one, and stamped a map of the underground on the background, and added a London bus, So you can visit Westminster Abbey by tube or bus.
The fabric one ( I nearly gave up on doing a fabric one ) I stitched a ground plan of a cathedral. At 11pm last night a full cathedral defeated me.

Hi Wendy! These are wonderful! You have risen to the prompt beautifully xxx
They are really clever interpretations and both give the right message. I'd still be trying to think of what to do!
Full marks for completing both inchies - they are great:-)
Sally
Fabulous idea to do the plan of a cathedral and I love the teeny tiny bus on the other.
I agree, this one was a challenge; however, you certainly did a nice couple of inchies. I really think the idea you had for the second one is brilliant. I'm ready to grab that bus!
you thought out of the box and I love what you did. Great job
Yes, it's true, it was a bit difficult to bring a cathedral to an inch square. But yours came out very well. (I think mine looks a bit like a church instead of a cathedral *lol*)
What an original idea with the cathedral plan! I'm in love with that itsi-bitsi bus near the Westminster.
You are amazing just for trying to make these inchie challenges! Stunning work:-) xxx
Wendy, they are both beautiful!! And I totally understand working at 11:00 pm on your Inchie!! That seems to be my quiet time to create. You did a great job!! :0) Share Humanity
