Finished another embroidery

This is another embroidery I started at Celyn Textiles with Sheila Davies. It's basically organza sewn onto Velvet, heated until it distresses, and then parts cut away and other bits embroidered. The colour is way out of my comfort zone, but I really enjoyed doing this one.. That another unfinished piece done. I am trying to finish all my UFOs before we move. That is if someone actually comes and buys the place.

An amazing piece Wendy with wonderful neat sewing. I love the ethnic colours on it.

Hope all goes well for you

I love all the stitchy texture in the little oblongs and the colours make each other sing.
Good luck with the sale of your house - hope you get a buyer soon. The waiting is awful isn't it?

Another wonderful stitched piece Wendy!

I'm stopping by to wish you a very Happy Birthday today and to say I'm really sorry not to have sent you anything (yet). I'm really struggling at the moment to get motivated (craft wise) and am really only crafting on long term projects I'm involved in. However, something will be in the post for you .... soon!

Take care,

Sherry xx
