For this Twinchie challenge, I decided to do a fabric one. I painted some pelmet vilene, and cut out the background, and some leaves. I sewed the leaves down, and left one so that it was more 3D. I made a bright pink flower out of organza, sewed some beads in the middle.

I love this - the flower is gorgeous and you can't go wrong with leaf shapes in my opinion. Your idea of leaving one leaf unattached really lifts the design.
