Next stage -- Using colours
The next part of the Sumptuous surfaces lesson is using colour. The designs above are postcard size, and I haven't made up my mind which one to work on. It will develop as I go, I hope.
I have used orange as the seahorse colour, as it is opposite on the colour wheel, and the colour that complements blue. I have loads of blue and turquoise threads and beads, and have been wanting to use them for ages, hence the sea theme.
