Vintage romance fabric ATCs

These fabric ATCs are for a Vintage romance swap.
I transfered the images onto fabric, and sewed them onto the main fabric. Beads, embroidery, lace, and flowers were then added

Fabric flower pages

These are two fabric pages I created for a fabric flower book swap. I had such a job with my dreadful machine, that I have bought a new one, which should arrive tomorrow. I just hope it's not too complicated, and baffles me with science.
The yellow flowers are sewn onto a background of a baby wipe that I had cleaned my stamps on
The poppies on some fabric that I had dyed 20 odd years ago. Both have machine stitching on, with beads added.

Altered jigsaw book

These are the pages of my bird jigsaw book. The size is approx 5" x 5 1/2". All of the backgrounds are inked, and stamped. Some of the birds are collaged, the others stamped. The last two are the front and back, the front is the real jigsaw piece, the rest I cut out of card.

Textile ATCs

These are my efforts for a textile swap for crazy patchwork. This is something I haven't attempted for 20 years. My sewing machine is playing up, so I was getting very annoyed with the whole thing.

Altered matchbox shrine

This is my attempt at an ATC size matchbox shrine for the NI and 6 inch square challenge. The paper I used was a photgraph of a lichen encrusted tree, so I made the nest out of lichen from the garden, wood shaving, and small twigs. The bird is glued onto card ( not a real bird ) and in the nest are some card eggs. The roof is made from metal tape, and coloured with alcohol inks.

Altered CDs

These are the two CDs I have altered for the GAS MAMMA swap. the subject was Oriental, and although I love doing Oriental, I found these quite difficult. My inspiration seems to have taken a nose dive this month

Make a moo or two No 1

These are my Moos for this week. The Moo challenge has been going for one year, so the challenge was to put the No 1 on your cards.
