Thursday Journal with Neet

This is the last Thursday journal page for Chris's theme of Hot Summer ( nights or days) in Art Journal Journey and the words are 'Making sense just isn't your thing is it?'

I have been in Norfolk this week and this was done in a bit of a hurry.

Melissa and her cousin  Dinah are out in the sun taking some time out to relax. At least Melissa is relaxing her cousin seems to be walking to and fro without any sort of reason.

"For goodness sake sit down and stop pacing about, you make me feel tired just watching you"said Melissa.

"Well I'm hot for a start and I must have jobs to do at home and am feeling guilty" replied Dinah.

"It's hardly surprising is it, you have a top on with a long sleeved jacket on top of that, and a pair of boots as well. You have dyed your hair purple I suppose to match your leggings. Shame you couldn't match the top to the leggings though. Does this mean that every time you change your outfit you will have to dye your hair that colour, to match" said Melissa.

"I hadn't thought of that" replied Dinah.

"Making sense just isn't your thing is it? Just sit down, forget the jobs which no doubt you should have done before and relax" said Melissa

Thursday journal with Neet.

The words the week are 'It's nearly time for my psychotic break' I don't think I am psychotic, at least I hope I am not.

Hollys cousin Sharon was as usual sitting on her fly agaric cushion and seemed to be thinking quietly in her garden in a world of her own.

"What are you doing, apart from sitting quietly", asked Holly.

"I am just making up my mind whether to go on a world trip with my boyfriend and have to give up my well paid job, or whether to just tell him no" replied Sharon.

Holly didn't believe for one minute that he had enough money to go on a world tour, let alone ask Sharon to go with him. It seemed all too far from reality in her opinion and thought Sharon was being her delusional self again. The number of times she had told Holly things she going to do and things she had heard, all totally unbelievable as far as Holly was concerned.

To keep the peace, Holly just said "it's  time I left as I have promised mum that I would cook tea tonight. I also think you would be silly to give up your job, but it's up to you" she murmured as a parting shot.

Sharon said, "OK Holly it's nearly time for my Psychotic break now anyway"

I am linking this to Chris's theme of Hot Summer (nights or days) on Art Journal Journey

Thursday journal with Neet

'The older you get the more you realise why you can't stand people' are the words this week.

I have given the page a sunny hot colour scheme to fit with Chris's theme of Hot Summer (nights and days) on Art Journal Journey.

Anna had taken her little dog Alfie to the beach for a nice long walk. Alfie was a very friendly dog with humans and with other dogs no matter what size they were. When they arrived on the beach Anna found when she arrived that there was hardly any beach left, it was covered in people, screaming kids and also that dogs were not allowed on the beach this month. (probably because it was full of holiday makers) She had completely forgotten this and had wondered why people were just glaring at her. Alfie thought all his birthdays had come at once and had immediately run off to play with the nearest bunch of children. Feeling very uncomfortable Anna quickly called Alfie to her side, put his lead back on and retreated to her car.

"Come on Alfie we will go out onto the moor and you can run around there, but not if there are any sheep around" She knew Alfie would want to play with them if there was. When they arrived at the moors car park Anna couldn't find anywhere to park the car and decided that Alfie would have to make do with her throwing a ball for him in the garden.

Alfie was not happy and looked at Anna with sad and accusing eyes. "Sorry Alfie, but the older you get the more you realise you can't stand people. Alfie didn't understand a word she said but it sounded sympathetic and he would have to go along with whatever she had in mind for him.

Thursday journal with Neet

The words this week are 'You can exercise all you want, you're never going to burn that crazy off'

There is a new theme of Hot Summer (nights or days) set by Chris of Pearshaped crafting on Art Journal Journey. So I have made a seaside scene for my first page this month. As it is in my Dylusion journal the figures are from the Dylusion range.

Stephanie had gone to the beach with her friend Angela and no sooner had they arrived that Angela had declared that see was going to run the length of the beach and then do some exercises  to help keep her waistline slim.

Stephanie was quite happy with her waistline and intended to take a nice slow wander down the beach and look for shells or some sea glass to make some jewellery with. She definitely wasn't going to run the length of the beach, in fact she didn't think she would even get from one end to the other. It was far too hot for doing silly things like that. In fact she thought that in this heat it was complete madness.

"Are you coming with me" Angela asked.

" No fear it's too hot, you can exercise all you want, you're never going to burn  that crazy off, I'll wave to you as you whizz past me" replied Stephanie
