I went for the obvious on Every Inchie Monday. I drew an orange, and did various stitching on the fabric one, adding beads and buttons for texture.

Try it on Tuesday -- Things with Wings
The theme on TIOT is Things with wings, and as I had just made some Deco pages for a swap, I have used one of those. I love the tatty quirky birds, and it looks as if the little one is in trouble with his landing gear. Mum looks a bit worried, and his sister has no idea what is going to land on her head.
I inked the card with distress inks and stamped the birds and leaves directly onto the card. I coloured the birds in with Inktense crayons.

Tag Tuesday -- Summer holiday
On Tag Tuesday Summer holiday is the theme. As a child our Summer holidays were spent on the beach on the Lincolnshire coast. We hired a bungalow, which owned a beach hut, so that is the subject of my tag this week.
I stamped the beach huts, coloured the sky, and then stuck down some sand at the bottom. When that had dried overnight, I then stuck on some shells. I used to love collecting shells. Well still do, but don't tell anyone.

Every Inchie Monday -- Odd
Odd is the word on Every Inchie Monday this week, and I'm sure most of us will have gone for odd numbers. I did with my sewn one, with its odd numbers of beads buttons and sequins, as well as the actual numbers on the fabric. For the drawn one I went for odd man out.

Artful Times DT piece -- Tags
On Artful Times the theme is tags, any size, shape or subject. I have this thing about corrugated card at the moment, I am sorting out my workroom, ready for a move, and keep coming across little stashes of it. I am cutting them up into tag size pieces, and throwing the rest away.

Tag Tuesday -- Bugs
On Tag Tuesday it's bugs, so I went with bees, as I seem to have acquired quite a lot of bee related stuff. I inked the background with distress inks, and added an embossed honeycomb at the side. I stamped a ticket and small tag and placed them near the honeycomb. The bees on the honeycomb are friendly plastic, and the others stamped. The wings on all of them have some yellow stickles added to make them shimmer. I added the three charms at the bottom, and some bee ribbon to finish it off.

Every Inchie Monday -- Navy
On Every Inchie Monday the theme this week is navy. I had to take mine away with me, and had very little to work with. I might re-do the drawn one, as it's a bit blurred. WHY don't white pens work properly, I just can't find a decent one.

Every Inchie Monday -- Negative
On Every Inchie Monday, the subjects are getting quite difficult to do in sewing, so for this one I just did a simple negative film strip for both of them. Some of the other ladies have been far more inventive.

Artful Times -- Postcard from abroad
For my postcards for Artful Times I have chosen Paris and India, both of which I have been lucky enough to visit.
The background for the Indian one is from and old Indian book, coloured with fabric paint. ( Left overs from a fabric printing course, where the paper was used to clean the brayer) The images were stamped on various papers. The Taj Mahal was stamped on paper dyed with tea.
The Paris one was on a piece of Tim's papers, coloured with distress inks, and then stamped with the various images. The image of the Eifel Towers was stamped on a separate piece of card.

Tag Tuesday -- Garden Party
Lots of ideas for the theme on Tag Tuesday, but with very limited time, I have made a very quick one. I found this picture of a little girl, giving a party for her dog and little doll. I have stamped some trees behind them, and placed flowers in the front of the scene. The background is coloured with distress inks. The flowers in the foreground are a bit of a mess, so not happy with those.
