Artful Times Challenge No 22 Asian

This challenge is for an Asian theme. Oriental things were very popular a few years ago, so this has me back wanted to do more. I might even make something in fabric as well. These are altered CDs, that I have made into a book. I covered the CDs in Oriental paper and added various images and stamped onto some of them. A few I added flowers to, and stuck a silver fan on the front. The whole book is put together with book rings and a Chinese hanging charm.

This is lovely Wendy and looks very authentic. I love the stamps and papers you have used and now wish I hadn't thrown away that bag full of CDs! I kept them for ages and never really knew what to do with them. I could have given them to you, at least!

This is beautiful. I keep old CD's to hang on the bean sticks and keep the birds away but this is a fab idea. Beautiful papers and images

What a clever idea to alter these CD's - not something I've seen before and they work so well. Hugs, Jenny x

That is fab Wendy. Glad this theme awakened the interest in you again. One of my favourite themes but one which, as you say, has gone out of fashion, Perhaps we can revive it between us?
Thanks for joining us and thanks for all the work you put into your book, it is beautiful.
Hugs, Neet xx

What a great idea to use up all those free CDs we all seem to accumulate. Love the papers and all the detail on the pages. Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment.
