Artful challenge A sea of green

This is for the second of the new challenges on Artful Times, and the subject was a 'sea of green'
I decided to make a tag again, as I love tags. I coloured the background in two shades of distress inks, and then sprayed a green glimmer mist over the branch mask. I then stamped the images onto card and coloured them in lightly with distress ink, with highlights of watercolour. I added some sari ribbon at the bottom.

Hi Wendy, thanks for visiting my blog. I've popped over to see your entry and it really is lovely. The background you've created is fab, particularly the branch using the glimmer mist. I did laugh when I read your profile comments about housework and cooking getting in the way - ditto for me! I've become a follower to keep tabs on your wonderful work.

I love this tag Wendy - you must have some lovely stamps and Distress Inks are great aren't they? The design is very fitting for this time of year when, despite the chilly wind, our world is becoming green again.

Lovely to see you with us again Wendy and with another tag - know how you love them. I do like the muted trees in the background and the little birds add so much interest.
Thanks for joining us at Artful Times - Hugs, neet x

This is lovely, Wendy!
I am enjoying the studying, but it is hard work and doesn't leave much spare time.
Are you going to ArtsyCrafts? I can't afford the time this year and, also, Warrington isn't as convenient and didn't fancy lugging my sewing machine there.
