These three ATCs are for a texture with string swap. I was a bit stuck for ideas until I thought of knitting. It was a bit painfull on my poor fingers, but I am quite pleased with the result. I stuck the string borders down with UHU.
What a wonderful idea Wendy! I lurk the interwebs looking for interesting, unique textures and techniques that I'd like to try in my art, and I think I found a winner here!!! Thanks so much.
I am interested in all types of art and crafts, including altered art, ATCs, painting, and textural crafts, especially embroidery, and felting. I also like to combine paper and fabric in mixed media art. My passion at the moment is fabric books. I love gardening, when the British weather and my bad back allows. My gorgeous grandsons and granddaughter also lure me out of my studio, that is until they are old enough not to make a mess in there

What a great idea Wendy - so impressed that you actually knitted with string on something so small - I have enough trouble with large needles! xx
