Artful Times Challenge--Alcohol inks

For this Artful Times challenge, I used the alcohol inks on three white dominoes. I stamped a Lynne Perrella stamp in black Stazon on all three at once. I then painted a small canvas and stuck the dominoes onto that. I added some small metal flowers on two of the corners.

Twinchies challenge - Flower

For this Twinchie challenge, I decided to do a fabric one. I painted some pelmet vilene, and cut out the background, and some leaves. I sewed the leaves down, and left one so that it was more 3D. I made a bright pink flower out of organza, sewed some beads in the middle.

Every Inchie Monday - Footstep

This week on Every Inchie Monday the subject is 'footstep'
 Mine is a foot print in the sand. I embossed the card with thick embossing powder, and stamped the foot print into it.

Artful Times Challenge - Spots, stripes, circles, and straight lines

I am very late with this Artful Times Challenge where does the time go. I have been trying to catch up with some swaps, and am struggling a bit with lack of inspiration.

In the end, I decided to do a journal spread in one of my homemade journals. This is the Summer one, so found two circles that I had made with poppies on, and put the required dots and stripes etc on the background. The background was created with Dylusion sprays, and stamped with some of their journal stamps. I will do some journal-ling on the page at a later date

Every Inchie Monday - Glasses

I'm a bit behind this week, having family here for Mother's day. The subject this week is glasses, which could  be spectacles or drinking glasses. I decided on spectacles.

Postcard fabric book

The first picture is of a piece of felting, using black felt, and textured wool, that I did at Celyn Textiles with Sheila Davies. The second picture is the same piece after I had used some machine embroidery stitches on it. It's lined with fabric and has an insert for storing my fabric postcards.

Every Inchie Monday - Wave

This weeks word is wave, so I have used my Pan Pastels to draw some sea waves. Not very easy on an inch square. I made two while I was in the mood.
