Thursday Journal

I have used a double page that I had already done the background on. As it had circles on it I stamped watches on some them. The story is also about a moment in time.

The words this week are ' Sorry I hung up on you...I din't mean to answer.

When Faith went round to see her friend Glenys, she was a bit puzzled as to why Glenys had phoned her up and then put the phone down as soon as Faith said hello. Perhaps she phoned the wrong number and put the phone down straight away. Anyway Faith was a bit put out and decided to go round and see if she was alright.

When Faith arrived at Glenys house, Glenys invited her in. and Faith asked what was going on.

"Well explained Glenys, Sorry I hung up on you...I didn't mean to answer. I thought if I put it down quickly you would't have time to answer. The thing is I have a new phone and I put all my friends numbers in and gave everyone a number, so I was ringing the number I had allocated to them to see if it worked"

"Don't be daft Glenys, how would you know it was them if they didn't answer it" explained Faith.

"Oh I never thought of that, it's a good job you came round to tell me that, as I was just about to try the other numbers" Glenys giggled at how silly she had been.

I am linking this to my time on Art Journal Journey where my theme is 'A moment in time"

What a cool page Wendy. Are those new Dylusion figures? And that was smart to put the clocks in the circles. You definitely described a moment in time not only on your page but in your story too. Happy weekend. hugs-Erika

Hey Wendy, I love your take on this quote - it’s both clever and funny. And your 2-page artwork to go with it is amazing! Your background and cool figures (and the dog!) are absolutely adorable. Thanks so much! Hugs, Sharon

Hi Wendy, fab page and love those two figures, they look great in their colourful clobber. Also the stamped clocks all over in the circles, is a great effect. Any news on Neet? I just checked her blog but there's nothing recent, so I hope she is out of hospital now. xx
