Thursday Journal with Neet

The words this week are "Who made me an adult"                                                                                  Veronica was a child minder and her latest charge, little Alfie was a bit of a hand full. Not only did he insist on walking around with his pet bird Bluey on his shoulders but he was a naughty little boy as well. His latest mischief had been to go into the garden and pull up Veronicas plants and feed them to next doors chickens. Veronica had to rush round to tell them what he had done, as she wasn't sure if any of them might be poisonous. Luckily they thought it was funny. When she had told Alfie off, she suddenly wondered why she was doing this job. Looking to the bird for sympathy she said to him "who made me and adult ?" Not able to say anything he just looked at her with those I know how you feel eyes.

No wonder Alfie has a bad back (he looks as if he has with his stance) with a great big bird perched on it most of the time. What a silly child.
Loved the page and the story.
Hugs, Neet xx

Fun page Wendy. Alfie looks like he is a huge challenge, him and his bird. You always do a great job incorporating the quote and the at AJJ challenge. It's always fun to see what you come up with each week. Thanks for sharing your page with us at AJJ for MAtilde's challenge. Hugs-Erika

Wendy, a super fun background (love the patterns and colors) and fun images. I am sure we have all had a moment or two when we have felt exactly the same way as Veronica. Fun story and page. Hugz

I love this post. Alfie does look like he could run rings around any one. Have a lovely day.

Alfie looks quite a handful, its a fabulous page and a great story, that bird doesn't look if he's well behaved either.
Thanks for linking with AJJ and Matilde's theme.
