Thursday Journal with Neet

This time the words are "Every animal knows more than you do"
To portray this I have a lady reclining on a sun bed and getting burnt under the sun, until she is the same colour as a lobster. Her friend thinks she has been very foolish to get burnt and  tells her that animals would know better. The animals are sheltering under trees and therefore not getting burnt, and boy do they look smug.

I am entering this in Erika's theme of When it's hot on Art Journal Journey.

What a fab blog page and what a great idea. Love the fact that she is going to be like a lobster. When will these young women learn?
Hope you had a nice holiday in Wales.
Hugs, Neet xx

Wendy this is a great piece. I had the laugh at the sunburn story as that is so true for when it is hot. And I would be one to burn too but I tend to do everything I can not too. I love the pups in this page. They are looking like this lady is crazy. This is perfect for AJJ and I want to say thanks for all your pages this month. They are much appreciated. Hugs-Erika

Oh my, your lady is sure going to suffer with sunburn. Its a fabulous fun page Wendy, I think animals probably do have more sense than humans regarding the weather on the day.
Thank you for linking to Erika's theme at AJJ and for your support this month.
Stay safe.

She even LOOKS like she has a sunburn, Wendy, This was incredibly clever and I truly enjoyed how you interpreted Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey. I have to admit I've never seen a sunburned animal, even though they may be out in the sun most of the day, This was a well conceived and thoughtful journal entry. Thanks for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey, dear.

The animals are quite right... only a lobster should be as red as a lobster! A fabulous page - love the little cluster of trees.
