The Craft Barn Dictionary Challenge -- P

This is the last letter in The Craft Barn Dictionary Challenge, and the letter is P. I have used Parrot for my tag. I stamped and coloured the parrot. I then used texture paste through a leaf stencil on the distress inked background. I used some die cuts for the leaves at the bottom. The brown dot near the parrots head is chocolate, now how did that get on the scanner. Luckily it didn't transfer to the tag. I wonder if parrots like chocolate!

Gorgeous parrot and lovely leaves Wendy. That's not chocolate, it's a tropical insect flying through the forest!

Lovely bright parrot in his jungle setting. I'm with Heather that is definitely a flying ant or something!! Best Wishes for 2017. Elaine x

What a fantastic final tag, Wendy. You certainly put a lot into each of your tags. I like what Heather wrote, also, but I was wondering if that was a chocolate obsession and if it had taken over your craft room.

Now that would have been a great challenge - Parrot with chocolate! lol! A beautiful tag and I love the brightness of it, especially on this miserable, grey day! Thank you for joining the Craft Barn Alpha/Dictionary Challenge and I wish you every happiness and a Crafty New Year xx

Lovely colouring I assumed it was a printed image at first. Love the chocolatey mixed media approach you may be onto the next big thing!

Love how the parrot sits between flat foliage and less flat (the die-cuts), it gives just enough perspective around the bird. Great tag! (all the better for the chocolate..)
