For Paint Party Friday this week I have painted a Jay, belonging to the same family as the crow, raven, rook, magpie and jackdaw. The blue feathers are a wonderful colour, and when we lived in Wales these birds were quite common and I found a lot of the blue feathers.

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful the drawn jay. I like them very much. In the old apartment I used to watch him in front of the balcony on an old oak tree and the boys too.

We have here a BLUE GREY TANAGER, some folk on the island of Tobago call them Blue Jean (seen a lot around the September month)
