It's the 10th Anniversary of Paint Party Friday this week. This is my painting of Fat Ball, ( the name we have given him) a pheasant who rules the coming and goings in our garden. He had found the fat ball feeder on the bird table and helps himself on a daily basis. He also swears at any one who has the nerve to go in the garden. The cats sensibly avoid him. The two photos show him looking at the empty fat ball feeder, the second one after we had filled it up. He's so fat I'm surprised he can still fly.
What- No fat balls
That's better

Your artistic rendering of the pleasantly plump pheasant is lovely. I think the bird would be quite pleased to know it is so pretty.
ReplyDelete:) he's 'fasaani' in Finnish.

beautful painting of the pheasant. When I moved to the place I live now they had a birdfeeder outside the building and there were pheasants coming in daily. Now the feeder is not allowed anymore so the birds are gone too. :(
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a wild pheasant for ages. Happy PPF
