I have made this fabric tag for a swap on an art forum I belong to. I haven't swapped anything for ages and have left it to the last minute.
The base fabric is a gelli print with coloured lutradur on top. I did some machine embroidery on top and the used a heat gun to burn away some of the lutradur. I then added some bits of tyvek and some machine embroidered bits left over from another project. Some buttons were added to finish off.

This is wonderful. I have nevcr even thought of colouring fabric this way and I am still learning about doing machine embroidery. Your sewing is always amazing Wendy

I must play with my Gelli plate and love your use of little bits of left over fabric. A good excuse for not having a clear-out! No one would know you had left this to the last minute - it's beautiful.
