Unfortunately Neet is still in hospital but getting better, so on my own again.
The words this week are 'I regret every single nap I passed up as a child'
I inked a background and then used a few time stencils over the top, using the same colours. The girl is one of the newer of Dylusion stamps and they are great to use. Not quite so way out as some of the others.
Emily has a new job and comes home really tired, she has to see to Squiggles her little cat, do the housework and get herself a meal. She couldn't wait to get her own place, it seemed such a good idea. At least her mum doesn't have to wait up for her if Emily goes out in the evening. Mind you she wishes she wasn't too tired to go out. Apart from that Emily is finding it very tiring, and could really do with a nap when she came home. The trouble with that is she wouldn't be able to sleep when she went to bed. lunch time would be ideal but she was pretty sure her boss would not be amused.
"Honestly Squiggles I regret every single nap I passed out on as a child" Squiggles wasn't impressed as he could go to sleep whenever he felt like it, humans he couldn't understand them at all.
I am linking this to my theme of 'A moment in time' on Art Journal Journey.

My midday nap is a bit of a problem; sometimes I can relax, but often I can't switch off.
Cats are great at taking naps several times a day.
You've made a lovely page with the background and the cat.
It's good that Neet is doing better, hopefully she'll be able to leave the hospital soon, and I hope you're doing well, Wendy!
Hugs Elke
This is a super page Wendy. I like the colors and the clock gears in the background. I guess Emily is learning what the real world is like-grin. Sorry to read that Neet is still in the hospital. Glad to read she is improving though. Have a great rest of your week. hugs-Erika
Love your story and your background Wendy. That is a good figure, she looks a bit like a trendy librarian (me on a good day haha), Squiggles, he knows how to nap for sure. I hope Neet is improving, I would send her a card if I knew the address. elle xx
The only time I have to take a nap is on Sunday afternoons, between my morning church service(s) and my evening Bible Study. Love your whimsical page. Happy AJJ!
This is fun and beautifully designed 😀♥️
Hay momentos de gran envergadura como el tuyo, un placer. Besitos
Another beautiful page, Wendy, for your challenge at Art Journal Journey.
Hugs,
